Tour Description

A full day tour to Florence while you are staying in Rome is a great opportunity to compare two of the most beautiful Italian cities.

Florence, the heart of Renaissance, is an outdoor museum that will mesmerise you! You will leave directly from your accommodation in Rome and we will start a wonderful drive across the regions of Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany. Once in Florence, our first stop will be in Michelangelo Square Lookout to take some spectacular pictures of the city from one of the highest points. Afterwards we will take you to the city center where our professional driver will show you Santa Croce Square with its spectacular Basilica ( you can opt to enter to admire Michelangelo and Galileo’s tombs) and Florentine Leather stores, then off to Cathedral Square to take some pictures of the majestic Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore (The Dome), Saint John’s Baptistery (with its stunning doors) and Giotto’s Bellower. You will also have the opportunity to walk the famous Ponte Vecchio (the Old Bridge) known for its Goldsmith shops, and stroll around the breathtaking Signoria Square, known for it majestic sculptures and architecture.

Time for shopping and lunch available without rushing. A great way to see the most beautiful parts of Florence living the atmosphere of this magical city. A good Espresso in the Republic Square is highly recommended before the end of the day!

In the afternoon we will leave Florence to be back in Rome around 6.30 pm.

We offer a private, licensed walking guide in Florence to escort you through the city while giving you additional information on the many incredible historical monuments located in this beautiful city. The cost for a three-hour private tour is 210 Euros to be paid only in cash to the driver at the end of the tour.
