During this fantastic tour you will have the opportunity to visit Sorrento and enjoy this fascinating town that overlooks the Bay Of Naples as the key place of the Sorrentine Peninsula.

Many viewpoints allow sight of Naples itself, Vesuvio Volcano and the Isle of Capri.

Sorrento’s sea cliffs and luxury hotels have attracted worldwide famous people, including Caruso and Pavarotti.

Sorrento is also known for the production of Limoncello, a digestif made from lemon rinds, alcohol, water and sugar. Other agricultural production includes citrus fruit, wine, nuts and olives. Wood craftsmanship is also developed.

After Sorrento we will then proceed to Herculaneum and here you will enjoy free time to explore its ancient ruins. Ercolano (Herculaneum) is a town and Comune in the Province of Naples and lies at the western foot of Mount Vesuvius, on the Bay of Naples. The medieval town of Resina was built on the volcanic material left by the eruption of Vesuvius (AD 79) that destroyed the ancient city of Herculaneum, from which the present name is derived.

Leaving Ercolano we will drive towards the countryside surrounding the Vesuvius where we will visit a local winery.

Wine Tasting and light lunch (fixed menu) will be served for you!  Please let us know if you are vegetarian!

We will then head back to the ship on time.
