Tour Description

A great opportunity to visit two of the most beautiful cities in our region, Florence the Heart of Renaissance and Lucca surrounded by mighty defensive walls.

We will start the tour with the visit of Lucca. Our driver will show you this charming town where its architecture will capture your sight. Massive city walls, bell towers, churches and wonderful squares make Lucca being totally unique.
Walk inside the Roman Amphitheater, take a picture of The Duomo (San Martino) and the Church of San Michele, drink a coffee in Napoleon’s Square and shop in the main Via Fillungo (Fillungo Road).

Lucca is also the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini, one of the most famous Italian composer, which masterpieces gave the name to many local Cafes.

The tour will continue with Florence,  known as the Heart of Renaissance with its museum hosting more than 300.000 works of art. The city of the Medici and the Lorena families, Florence is simply amazing and really difficult to describe in words.

Our driver will show you the main attractions including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (The Dome), St.John’s Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Santa Croce Square, Signoria Square with its sculptures and you might opt to visit one of the famous museums such as the Academy of Fine Arts (Michelangelo’s David) or Uffizi Gallery (Botticelli’s Birth of Venus), see details below.

Before heading back to the port our driver will take you to Michelangelo’s Square Lookout to take some pictures of Florence from one of the highest points. Get your camera ready!

After the tour you will be driven back to the port on time.

We offer a private, licensed walking guide in Florence to escort you through the city while giving you additional information on the many incredible historical monuments located in this beautiful city. The cost for a 3 hours private tour is 180 Euros to be paid only in cash to the driver at the end of the tour.
Note: Admission fees to monuments and museums will have to be purchased on site; cost not included.

We can reserve this museum for you. Cost for the ticket is Euro 25 per person. UPON REQUEST ONLY.

UFFIZI GALLERY
